Helvey & Associates Debt collection disclosure verification of debt not given enough info to verify debt January 19, 2017 - Helvey and assoicateds is trying to collect on a debt from - that is incorrect. I stated this from my first cal with them and requested proof of the debt. They sent me over a ledger that clearly shows the last two months of service of being estimated and not an actual meter reading. This is being reported on my credit reports and should n't be as it is not a verified amount. The agent on the phone said I need to call consumers myself to handle this. If that is the case they should n't be allowed to be reporting something that they themselves do n't know if it is correct.... |

I have a copy of my bill from - for - -. The bill is -. We moved out of that house the -/-/-. I called - and was told the bill was transferred to my account by mistake. The bill belonged to a man named - -. I was told the transfer department would remove it and contact the collection company within 3 days. That did n't happen. Helvey & Associates Debt collection disclosure verification of debt not given enough info to verify debt May 21, 2016 - I received a notice from a debt collector and within their time frame, I mailed them a certified letter asking for copies of bills and payments on this account. ( I think the amount they show I owed is incorrect. I also had been making monthly payments on this account and had telephone conversations with this provider that assured me that if I made payments it would not be turned over to collections ). The collection company then sent me an original copy of said hospital bill after insurance paid that does not show any payments that I made on this account. I sent them another certified letter ... |
