I had switched cards and failed to update my information, which is on me. I understand. However after calling through the gym, another company and finally to a company called First Credit Services, I was on the line with an individual who was very vague and seemed to only respond to very fixed statements and out who I was, the gym i went to and a fairly outrageous dollar amount I had to pay. I had requested a letter stating the amount owed, reason for collection, and what my options are. To date, I have yet to receive this letter. Today ( -/-/2015 ) I received a phone call from First Credit Services attempting to collect this debt. I joined a fitness club because i did not have to commit to a contract. I ceased using the services and paid the outstanding balance when i notified the club that I would no longer be using the service. It strikes the wrong cord when this creditor is reporting a balance owing when I had no contract with them. I request full validation from this company or the reporting company.
