DriveTime Consumer loan department,
Vehicle lease Taking out the loan or lease Arizona
As a - of DriveTime for 5 years. I took my daughter to the - location. This was her first time car buying experience. I was with the company when they rolled out the - anytime lease program. I thought this would be ideal for her in the event she fell on hard times and could n't continue to maintain the payments. The saleswomen - ( Who was Wonderful to work with ) located a vehicle on another DT lot that was listed in THEIR inventory as a Starter car ''. The downpayment was $1000.00, but you can put down a minium of - and pay the - in - bi-weekly payments of $50.00. Then your payment will go down by -. That 's per DT Terms. Well the Manager - at the - completely did A BAIT AND SWITCH. He told her the vehicle she purchased was a higher tier price so her payments would be - bi-weekly she told - she could n't afford that. Even though the saleswoman - checked the system and even called the dealership to make sure the vehicle was still
YEARS. Then her payments do n't go down after the remains - of $50.00 bi-weekly has been PAID. On her contract it states Final payment $190.00 due on -/-/15 so her payment would be - less. My daughter called DT in - was told by representative there was $99.00 still due because there was a side note?? She went to the dealership in - spoke to - who looked at her contract was n't able to make heads or tails of it since - was n't there he was confused. He asked my daughter how much did she put down she told him $890.00 but on the contract it has $1000.00 that was incorrect. - asked for a few days to get to the bottom of everything he was going to call me. I did n't here him. I called back on Thursday was told he was n't in. I spoke to - who acted like he could n't talk to me about this. He was the one that wrote the contract. He said - was going to call me. kept saying they need to review the tapes?? What tape this was done inside the dealership not over the phone. Furthermore - and my daughter was in the dealership until - the night she purchased the car. That was ridiculous it does n't take 3 hours to write up the contract. I work for a - I AM - for - of the - 's. IM SO DIAPPOINTED IN DT for not taking ownership for - 's me stake. - not having the decency to call me back and we could go over the contract together. I know the DT Core Values. This is Not how they do business. - needs to be re-trained on contract writing. Both men need to take ownership.
