So instead of my loan amount being $200000.00 it is now $200000.00 including the - % MIP charge. But I received my Closing Disclosure ( - - and although I am financing the - % MIP, They are still asking me to bring that amount of money to the closing table. Stonegate Mortgage Corporation Mortgage settlement process and costs May 18, 2016 - At the time of closing, there was no mortgage insurance listed on our closing disclosure and documents. When we received our first mortgage payment statement, the amount due was $92.00 more. I emailed our mortgage broker with - - and asked if he could explain the discrepancy. He responded 2 days later explaining that " for some reason, the payment letter and such given at closing did not include the mandatory Mortgage Insurance '' and encouraged us to pay the amount with the mortgage insurance from the payment statement. Stonegate Mortgage Corporation Mortgage settlement process and costs October 9, 2015 - In the middle of refinancing our VA mortgage, our current mortgage servicer ( Stonegate Mortgage ) contacted us and promised to beat any offer we had to refinance through someone else. We provided Stonegate with the Good Faith Estimate we were working with and they gave us a better Good Faith Estimate giving us a rate of 3.625 % and them contributing all of the funds for closing costs. After providing Stonegate with all of the documents they delayed several weeks ( causing the rate lock to expire ) and are now saying they can only give us a 3.75 % interest rate and that we will have to come in... |
