October 28, 2015 - A company named Cooper Hoffman Klein and Associates called and stated they were investigating my bank account and I would be sent for prosecution for a debt for a payday loan from 6 years ago, they threatened to file a claim that would garnish me, send me to jail if I did not pay them - today -/-/- and the remained of the money in - payments -/-/-. August 14, 2015 - Received a call from - at my work from Cooper Hoffman Klein and Associates. The caller identified himself as being from the - - subpeona processing department. He said to avoid a warrant and arrest I had to make immediate arrangements with him. I asked for proof of debt. His response was that he is representing an arbitration firm and is not a debt collector. He said he did n't have to abide by rules that debt collectors must follow.
