A company named Cooper Hoffman Klein and Associates called and stated they were investigating my bank account and I would be sent for prosecution for a debt for a payday loan from 6 years ago, they threatened to file a claim that would garnish me, send me to jail if I did not pay them - today -/-/- and the remained of the money in - payments -/-/-. I asked for proof the debt that they said they would e-mail me and I have not received anything they said I was a low life and I know I owe the money and it is time to pay. The represent themselves as a law-firm but I can not find anything about the firm. When I googled the company and phone numbers everything states it is a scam. They would not give me the address of the firm.They have called my parents leaving information about my so called debt while speaking with them. My parents are elderly and this is very upsetting to them. The phone numbers they call from are - -
