Barclays Credit card credit card protection / debt protection September 23, 2015 - I applied for a Barclaycard - credit card and they sent the card to the wrong address. The card was never activated, yet they charged me fees and late fees. I have made - phone calls to barclaycard to clear this up, yet it still appears join my credit report. Barclays Credit card credit card protection / debt protection May 6, 2015 - I noticed a charge on my credit card that did not belong to me last - 2014. I contacted Barclaycard to file a dispute. I was told they needed 30 days to investigate the charge. I received a letter 30 days later stating the charge was valid and that the merchant showed a receipt for this transaction. I contacted the merchant after receiving this receipt to question this order number. I found out that my credit card number was used on this order but was linked to someone else 's account and delivery address. Barclays Credit card credit card protection / debt protection April 7, 2015 - I noticed a couple of unauthorized charges on my statement - months ago. I immediately called the card company to report the fraud. They removed the charges and issued a new card. On my next statement, I discovered that they had transferred the charges to the new account. I have not activated the new card. I called again and was informed by a fraud agent that the charges, along with the new fees and interest, would clear in a couple of weeks. They have not. I received an alert that an account was opened in my name. I immediately called Barclays and told them it was fraud.
