Debt collection false statements or representation attempted to collect wrong amount February 7, 2017 - A debt collection company that I send payments to is claiming that they did n't receive a payment that I sent in - 2016. However I 've made payments in - and - which have applied to my account correctly. I 've tried to rectify this matter and two months later and still has n't been resolved. It is very difficult to speak with someone about my account, because staff are rarely available. At this time I still have n't been informed about the company 's status in tracking the payment.... |

Debt collection communication tactics called outside of 8am-9pm August 29, 2016 - Debt collectors have n't called outside of proper hours, however I am having an issue with debt collection companies not providing me with a receipt for my monthly payments. I 've spoken with multiple representatives and supervisors who always claim they 're going to resend it but they never do. A common practice for these companies is to only allow you to speak with - person who is authorized to handle your account. Debt collection taking/threatening an illegal action threatened arrest/jail if do not pay August 26, 2016 - This company called me today and threatening to take me to court if I did not set up some kind of arrangement with them today. They said the papers where laying on there desk and ready to be sent. I told them that I was not able to work because of health problems and that I have applied for -. I have no money.
