Navient Student loan getting a loan can't qualify for a loan November 6, 2015 - I am the co-signer for - student loans for my daughter that was taken out in 2007. She has had extenuating circumstances in her life that resulted in not being able to pay the loan and it defaulted. Now that she is getting back on her feet she is trying to fix her credit.
