ATG Credit, LLC Debt collection disclosure verification of debt not given enough info to verify debt May 13, 2016 - -/-/2016 the company listed in the attached letter showed up with collection amount in my credit report. Since I had never had contact with the company I did n't know ( and I still do n't know ) the reason for the collection account. I called the company asking for a verification of the debt and instead I received a collection letter asking for payment but no validation of the debt. I sent the company a letter requesting verification of the debt. To this day they have not responded to my request. In addition, the company is not legally authorized to collect debts in North Carolina. ... |

They explained to me on - occasions that they would be recording the phone calls. I expressed to them that I too was recording the phone call for my purposes. They immediately got angered and told me that according to the FDCPA I was NOT allowed to record them. I tried to explain to them that the Federal law states that one-party phone calls are authorized by federal law and they hung up on me. ATG Credit, LLC Debt collection disclosure verification of debt not given enough info to verify debt April 20, 2015 - a collection company by the name of ATG is collecting for a loan that was charged to my name. I explained that the loan was changed by the company in error because I never took the on line classes and was to be cancelled but they did not cancel the loan at all. Original loan was last paid in -/-/- but this collection company wants to keep it on my report from the date it was put into collection from the original debtor not the time it was last paid. I explained that I read that bad charge offs come out after 7 years from last payment, but they want to put it from last date of transferred ... |
