Medical Disclosure verification of debt Not given enough info to verify debt North Carolina

-/-/2016 the company listed in the attached letter showed up with collection amount in my credit report. Since I had never had contact with the company I did n't know ( and I still do n't know ) the reason for the collection account. I called the company asking for a verification of the debt and instead I received a collection letter asking for payment but no validation of the debt. I sent the company a letter requesting verification of the debt. To this day they have not responded to my request. In addition, the company is not legally authorized to collect debts in North Carolina.
