Capital Accounts, LLC Debt collection cont'd attempts collect debt not owed debt was paid December 2, 2016 - The doctor messed up when billing the insurance, so they never received payment. Once I was notified, I set up a payment schedule and made payments until the debt was fulfilled. Then years later I find out I have a collection our from them for payments that were already made! What worse is since this was so long ago, I do n't have any documentation and they never provided me with recipes to verify my payments. Also, I believe this was done because I had a terrible experience at the office and posted a bad review online, so they " lost '' my payment to file a collection.... |

I responded in writing that I was disputing the balance on -/-/- by certified mail ( USPS ). By my records, the account had been settled in full on -/-/- after four months of payments directly to the provider. On -/-/- I received correspondence from Capital Accounts again stating that I had not made satisfactory payment arrangements and that they would be reporting my account to the national credit bureaus. Primary and - insurances paid their portion and we made copayments, some by check, some in cash. The dentist was arrested in -/-/- in an unrelated case and subsequently had his licence to practice in our state suspended and then later, permanently revoked. His practice is now shut down. I have never rec 'd anything in the mail before on this. I called the Dr offfice and they say it was because visits that are being billed didnt have a referral but I always had a referral and if they told me that I would have gotten -. I have attached proof that my primary care physician did send referrals. I feel as though this is some sort of way for them to bill people almost 5 years later knowing they will pay or it will kill their credit.
