For the last 9 years I 've had numerous issues with my student loans, many I 've already voiced to CFPB, this is just another issue in a long line of problems. For the past two years I 've been on a " payment plan '' the deal was I pay for 3 months on time with automatically withdrawn payments and they send me a copy of my new updated contract, also after 3 months my interest is supposed to have gone down to 0.01 % because they 've already at this point charged me so much interest my loan is well over double the original amount. Well it 's been two years almost and nothing. I was kicked off the program once even with no notification, and they kept taking out the money every month, it was only after several harassing phone calls did we figure out we were kicked off. I was put back into the " payment plan '' about spring of last year and we still have yet to receive any notification of new contract, not only that but none of the payments I 'm making Are showing up on my credit report, it just says I have n't made any payments in over 90 days! This is preventing me from buying a home for my family.. We do n't qualify for anything because this loan is so greatly affecting my credit. They give us no contact information in the letters we do receive from -, it 's a weird dept handling my loan and when I call no one can get me to the right person to talk to ... I 'm at me wits end, I want to start my life, care for my family and not have to pay almost - what I borrowed!
