Discover Credit card department,
I have a Discover It credit card. I made a payment on - -, 2016. Payments in the past had posted the following day. However, this time the payment was held for more than ten days. No reason was given for funds being held. I called and spoke to a representative who informed me that she did not know the reasons but other departments had access to this information. My concern is the abuse of power. My account has not shown any signs of " fraud '' or related situations that merits " stringent screenings ''. Besides, this is nothing new, -/-/- a rental car refund was held up for more than fifteen days. I looked over my credit card terms and conditions and I did not find any information in regards to " delaying credit for payments and/or refunds ''.
status. If they choose to do so, I need to be informed in order for the power to be balanced. I am able to make informed decisions about the " conditions '' planned for my account. Lastly, the credit report is not showing any credit available, which in turn shows that my account is currently overdrawn by $17.00, which is incorrect. I certainly feel overpowered and ostracized by this situations and I hope that someone can take a deeper look at what these financial companies are doing with consumers financial wellbeing.
