Discover Credit card department,
Over the past couple of month, I have made several purchases of various electronics and other health related items. Discover is/was offering a promotion where they stated that customers would receive a 10 % reward bonus for using their - account when making the purchase with their Discover Card. I was just sent an email today informing me that I would not be receiving this 10 % reward bonus even though it was specifically stated in the terms that it would be awarded. I called their - number and was told that they thought that I purchased gift cards because of the dollar amounts. I did not purchase any gift cards with this promotion. They still refused to award the points and said that I could send them receipts. This seems ridiculous considering that these purchases were from two months ago and some of them have some private information on them, including various medications that my family members are currently on.
