BB&T Financial Credit card rewards September 30, 2016 - My credit card account was closed due to inactivity. I was not notified this would be happening. I have/had $610.00 in rewards associated with the account and now they are saying since the account was closed they are forfeited. I feel this is an unfair business practice since I had been a good customer and earned rewards for my purchases. They should have notified me that my account would be closed for inactivity. Had I known, I would have claimed my rewards and possibly used the account to keep it open. At this point, I would like to claim the rewards that I had earned which was $610.00.... |
BB&T Financial Credit card rewards September 16, 2016 - Hello, I recently noticed my BB & T Spectrum rewards credit card was no longer working despite having available credit. I reached out to BB & T ( they did not make any effort to call me before placing a block on my card which I use every day ) to see what the problem was. I spoke with someone in Risk Management who informed me my account was under " investigation '' due to my high spending. The card was in good standing with no late payments. A few days after that, with no further contact from BB & T, my credit card was removed from my online account and I now assume it to be closed completely... |
BB&T Financial Credit card rewards September 7, 2016 - On - -, 2016, I was approved for the BB & T spectrum credit card. I had been banking there for roughly the previous 8 months before applying. I was approved with a limit of -. The reason I had applied is that my personal banker recommended the card to me, as it had an uncapped increased rewards structure for the first 90 days. The card paid a flat rate of 3 % cash back on all purchases for the first 90 days, 1 % after that. However, there was a bonus structure if you spent at least - in a year.
