American Credit Financial Debt collection communication tactics frequent or repeated calls May 13, 2016 - I have had repeated calls about a debt I owed. They have called several of my family members telling them I have - fraud charges being filed against me and I needed to call to get my court date. I called them and asked them to send me some information and that I was n't going to pay them until I could validate the debt. They said I had to pay that day or they would file civil charges against me for fraud.
