I am in the process of clearing up all inaccurate and wrong information on my credit reports. 44 Days ago I send a certified letter ( copies saved ) that requested Corrected information and PROOF of any errors they are not removing from my personal credit report. Their response was that the account had been verified but did not provide either the name of the employee who verified the account or physical proof of the verification of the account. They responded but failed to disclose the source of their information. I provided documentation from the United States Bankruptcy Courts to Equifax and to the CFPB that the courts do not validate but instead it is done through a third party. Equifax lied in their response to me and to the CFPB in stating that the Bankruptcy Court had validated the data ( something that they do not do ). Equifax Credit reporting credit reporting company's investigation problem with statement of dispute November 14, 2016 - Equifax is reporting falsely on my account and I asked them to verify the accounts since they are not mine. They lied in their response to me that they contacted the courts and verified by sending someone to the courthouse. They asked me to contact the court. I did contact the court by phone and mail. I was advised they did not furnish the information to the bureaus and also sent me a letter indicating they did not verify as such. Equifax flat out lied and violated FCRA rules. Additionally, I have asked for the procedures and their source for having this info on my report as I believe they are... |
