Therefore, I get no benefit from early payment. I also make an extra payment each year. There has been several discrepancies to the point where we decide to seek out our own lender to get a better rate. When we spoke with the seller at - he said if we did n't use their title company they would n't pay our closing costs as promised, so we agreed to use the title company along with our chosen lender.
