Coast Professional, Inc. Debt collection cont'd attempts collect debt not owed debt was paid March 28, 2017 - I had an outstanding balance with my college. I paid them the balance that I owed. I checked my credit report & saw that the college sold the debt to a collection agency. I disputed with the collection agency to let them know that I did not owe them & that I paid the debt to the original creditor. After getting the dispute results back, it was updated on the collection account as " Paid collection. '' This is inaccurate as I paid the debt to the original creditor.
