Non-federal student loan Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed Debt was paid Tennessee

I had an outstanding balance with my college. I paid them the balance that I owed. I checked my credit report & saw that the college sold the debt to a collection agency. I disputed with the collection agency to let them know that I did not owe them & that I paid the debt to the original creditor. After getting the dispute results back, it was updated on the collection account as " Paid collection. '' This is inaccurate as I paid the debt to the original creditor. I 've disputed this account many times & I keep getting the same results. After disputing again, Coast Professional responded and CONFIRMED that I paid the original creditor and not them. I will attach that document to this complaint. I have never done business with Coast Professional. I have never heard of them until they were on my credit report. I have been disputing this inaccurate collection account reporting on my credit for almost 2 years. Remove it now.
