U.S. Bancorp Student loan can't repay my loan can't temporarily postpone payments August 28, 2016 - Upon my filing for Chapter - bankruptcy, I was informed that the - students loans that I co-signed for my daughter - - - were taken out of deferment, closed then transferred to a collection acct. - is and has been, since original loan was taken out, at least a Part-time student and currently has federal loans that are in deferment and good standing, is currently a - with full deferment qualifications, with no lapses. I completed a deferment application and was denied the possibility to re-pay my student loans at a later date in time.
