ERC Debt collection communication tactics frequent or repeated calls December 21, 2018 - Keep getting repeated robo calls from company called ERC. I do not owe any debt, have been debt free for last 15 years, except for 2 auto loans which are paid via allotment. I have even went so far as to go to the ERC web site and filled out form to have them stop calling me but the calls still persist. I am - and wife is - and these repeated calls upset us. I am asking that this company be charge a fine or whatever the legal term is of $500.00 for each phone call. My FICO score is - and no bad credit in my credit report for last 25 years or longer!... |

They are using sleezy tactics in trying to harass me via phone calls. I've repeatedly asked them to add my phone number to their " Do Not Call '' list but the continue to call. They always ask for " - '' who is someone I do not know. They have promised to not call my number in response to complaints I've previously filed here but continue to do so. They attempted to pump my parents for information about me but would not state who they were or what they wanted. I only found out that they were a debt collection agency through -. This number and residence have never been associated with the account in question and I never gave permission to be contacted at this number by anyone.... |

When I call them back, they ask for personal information that I do not feel comfortable releasing over the phone. ( i.e. address and SSN ) I have asked several times why they are calling. The response is " ERC, we are attempting to collect a debt '', however refuse to tell me what debt.... |
