Wells Fargo & Company Debt collection communication tactics frequent or repeated calls November 26, 2016 - This number keeps calling me EVERY DAY starting early in the morning to night. They never say who they are, but it has the Wells Fargo automated message in the beginning when I answer or if I call back. Not sure if this is a scam because they immediately ask for my credit card number before anything else. They wo n't say whether they are a debt collector but they mention that I owe money. I have spoke with them a few times and explained my recent situation and that I am unable to make the payment at the moment. I have asked them kindly to stop calling me and they still wo n't stop. The calls will continue everyday until the account is current.Each time this has happened I ask that they stop calling or at least leave a message with the purpose of the call, but they do not.
