I paid the balance in full, and was told that I would be receiving confirmation of this within 7-10 days. I waited 10 business days before calling back on -/-/2017. I was informed at this time that the letter had not been sent out, but it would be the following day, and that I should expect to receive the confirmation letter no later than Friday, -/-/-. Debt collection communication tactics used obscene/profane/abusive language August 30, 2016 - We had paid the account over a year ago with a cashier 's check and had not received any bills so assumed the account was closed. - - from Evergreen Professional Recoveries contacted me at my work. I explained the situation and she was very aggressive. She said if I did not pay the bill with a credit card over the phone she would immediately report to the credit bureau. She proceeded to yell at me and be abusive accusing me of lying. I immediately called the company which we owed the bill to and will be paying them directly. It was completely unacceptable behavior.... |
