We had paid the account over a year ago with a cashier 's check and had not received any bills so assumed the account was closed. - - from Evergreen Professional Recoveries contacted me at my work. I explained the situation and she was very aggressive. She said if I did not pay the bill with a credit card over the phone she would immediately report to the credit bureau. She proceeded to yell at me and be abusive accusing me of lying. I immediately called the company which we owed the bill to and will be paying them directly. It was completely unacceptable behavior.
