This is a complaint about a promotional bonus not being credited, in violation of the terms and conditions provided to the customer ( me ) at the time of enrollment. I opened a Citi Savings Plus account in -/-/- after enrolling in a promotional offer, offer code -. Per the terms and conditions provided me at the time, I expected that my account would be credited with $300.00 within 90 days of -/-/- if I deposited $25000.00 to $50000.00 by -/-/- and kept at least that balance through -/-/-, which I satisfied. However, 90 days later ( -/-/- ), the $300.00 promotional bonus has not been credited. I have called CitiBank customer service to give them an opportunity to rectify the issue, but they claim that the bonus failed to credit because the offer was " targeted ''. However, the terms and conditions PROVIDED TO ME AT ACCOUNT ENROLLMENT do NOT state any such contingency, and hence


the terms and conditions ), and hence they have failed to uphold the terms and conditions to which I agreed at time of enrollment. To preempt a possible response from CitiBank, they MIGHT respond to you claiming that the promotion was " targeted '', but that excuse is invalidated by the evidence I am submitting, namely the enrollment confirmation and complete terms and conditions on which I based my decision. I would like to emphasize that I signed up for this savings account SOLELY because of the promotional bonus, and in good faith that my satisfaction of the terms and conditions would result in my being credited the $300.00 reward. I therefore submit this complaint seeking to enforce the terms and conditions that Citi provided me ( upon which I based my decision to do business with them ), and thus be credited the promotional bonus described in those terms.
