Investors Bank Mortgage department,
Home equity loan or line of credit Credit decision / Underwriting South Dakota
In -/-/-, I opened a home equity line of credit at Investors Bank ( account # - ). In -/-/-, we sold the house and informed Investors Bank of the sale. I told them that we no longer owned the house and would like to close the account. They never closed the account. Since then, I have informed them by phone and by mail that we do n't own the property and want the account closed, but they still have n't closed it. Please contact them and make them close the account. Since we do n't own the property, the bank ca n't foreclose on it. My fear is that someone will charge something to the account, and we will be responsible for their debt, and this will affect our credit. Thank you for anything you can do to help us.
