Incorrect information on credit report Account status Virginia
Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, I am very excited to have found you and know that you will be able to help my situation. Right now, my husband and I are closing on our house on -/-/- ( 14 days from now ). When we obtained an updated copy of my credit report, I noticed that there are 90 day late payments on my - student loans that are being serviced by -. Acct # -. Additionally, they are reporting an " Account Status '' as " Currently 90 days late ''.
My experience in legal matters is extensive in knowledge of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. The Act specifies prohibited practices in the payment reporting guidelines. There can not be a 90 day late payment unless there is also a corresponding 60 day late payment and a 30 day late payment ( credit report attached to this investigation request ). I request that Experian remove the illegal 90 day late payment history for -/-/2017 for all - of the - accounts # -. Thank you VERY much.
