Thank you for taking the time to read this letter. I 'm writing because I noticed that my most recent credit report contains late payment reported on 30 DAYS -/-/-, for my KAY JEWELERS CARD # .-.I have contacted customer service on -/-/- to remove that reporting from all - major credit reporting agency due to the error but Sterling Jewelers Inc- Division : Kay Jewelers Customer Care refused to remove the reporting. ( Assigned request id - for that communication ). During that communication I have informed Sterling Jewelers Inc- Division : Kay Jewelers Customer Care Department the following : when I made a purchase on -/-/-, I was told by the sales person no payments or interest for 6 months. In -/-/- I started receiving phone calls from the bank Sterling Jewelers Inc- Division : Kay Jewelers. They were asking about the payments. Soon after that I made a trip back to the KEY JEWELERS STORE in - MI. To my recollection the store manager was on vacation and I was told that I have to wait for the store manager to get back to work. Once the store manager returned to work I made another trip to the store. Manager stated that they have not had that promotion and she is not sure why the sales person informed me about it. Manager attempted to convince me that it was a misunderstanding between me and the sales person. Immediately after that I made a payment and I was current and on time with all payments and paid off entire loan.
