I submitted a complaint previously against Pentagon Federal Credit Union, Case # -, which resulted in a response from - stating that Pentagon Federal Credit Union would reduce the interest in the amount of $540.00 for 2016. This was in response to my complaint of extra payments not applied toward principal as per my request. I believe that the $540.00 should have gone into principal and not in a reduction of - -/-/-, I received a letter stating that a new escrow analysis revealed a shortage of $520.00 over 12 months which I paid in order to keep my payment at -. - is not applying payments correctly online as per customer request. I have to call to have them correct it on a consistent basis. I made my -/-/- payment $10.00 over the - - $950.00 - payment as per - on the letter dated -/-/2016. The $10.00 was not applied toward principal. This is after flagging my account to service it correctly.
