I 'm a - year old - that has a 10.99 % interest rate on my primary property with loan servicer Select Portfolio Servicing. I requested a refinance so that I can lower my interest rate and mortgage payment and SPS advised my to apply for a loan modification. I was approved for a loan modification with an interest rate of 9.74 % and they added $2000.00 to my principal balance. SPS claims they based the loan modification on the information that I sent in. However, the information that I sent illustrated an income lower than they income they used to structure the loan modification. SPS wants me to start a trial loan modification that I strongly disagree with because the income is n't correct and the interest rate is too high
