Ally Bank charged an overdraft fee when, on my account, it is clearly stated that the deposit posted before the debit. They said there was a " hold '' placed on the deposit, but there is no record of it. When asked to refund the overdraft fee, they said no. This happened once before and they admitted their mistake and refunded the fee. 2nd time around? No refund. After going round and round with them, they STILL could n't tell me WHY I was charged the fee other than the " hold '' on the deposit- again- even though the deposit was posted AND time-stamped BEFORE the debit.
