Medical Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed Debt is not mine South Carolina

I was rear ended in a car accident -/-/- Hired attorney, - to assist. He sent me to - -. I went there for about six months with no relief. I never signed a piece of paper or gave them a credit card or received a bill of any kind from these people. I had to fire my attorney and hired - to handle the case which was finally settled in -/-/-. I received a phone call from the - and referred him to -, my attorney, who told him the case had been settled, that no bills had been submitted to him, and that no money was due. The - called me over the phone and told me I owed him $5000.00. I told him I had received a very small settlement and all bills had been paid from them and that I never signed an agreement paperwork or a bill of any kin from him. He said he was going to collect his money and that he was going to have collections come after me, which he has done and my credit is now ruined due to this mark on my character. He turned it over to a collection agency and reported it to all - credit reporting agencies. I am - have worked my entire life to have good credit. Before this mark on my character, my report was -. He has done serious damage to my name and reputation as I am a respected person in the community. - turned it over to capital accounts llc who have been harassing me over the phone.
