Non-federal student loan Dealing with my lender or servicer Having problems with customer service Utah

I currently have - student loans with Navient. I contacted them to see about consolidating these loans and lowing my interest rate that at the times were 6 % 5 % 4 % before finding another company. About a month later my interest rates were raised to 8 % 8.5 % and 6.75 %. I feel like they did this to make as much money as possible with the information that I maybe refinancing with another company.
