Because I am set up in this reduced interest rate program with Navient, what happened is, as they have been taking payments out of my account and applying it, but I do n't know exactly how its being dispersed to all my loans, and because I 'm set up with auto-pay, I have never had any control over it. I just pay my monthly amount and they are supposed to apply it to my loan amounts accordingly. The website does n't have any detailed situation information and I have never gotten a document. All I know is that I owe - a month and they automatically deduct it from my bank account and apply it to my loan. However, since we set up this payment plan, they have n't been applying enough money towards - of my loans, and too much towards another loan. They have been calling 3-4 times a day during the week and weekends and sometimes late in the evening. I was confused because I had been making payments but because departments do n't seem to communicate very well at Navient, I was left with having to explain the program I was in to then get the response 'oh, yeah you are all caught up with payments, apologies we did n't see that. ' But now I have just discovered that they have n't been applying my payment properly, therefore we got dinged on our reports ( my and my cosigners ) which is really a major score drop. This not being the only quirky thing I have been dealing with, I believe Navient needs to be regulated because they clearly can not handle their customers money.
