Experian Credit Reporting Complaint

Incorrect information on credit report account status

Experian Credit reporting department,

Incorrect information on credit report Account status Idaho

I have a monthly payment agreement with social security, not a third party collection agency, to pay the full amount of their overpayment. I have been making monthly payments since - of 2014. Experian shows failure to pay every month despite these payments resulting in a very low credit score. I disputed this with Experian in - ( spoke with - ) and provided proof of the monthly payments. I received - reports - - stating Experian is not able to make changes to my credit report until they contact Social Security. I called Experian today and spoke with - again. She said that social security responded to their dispute inquiries on - -, told them my most recent payment was - -, but is still reporting that it is a collection account and that it was sent to collections for non-payment. So I called Social Security today and spoke with -. She said that on their end, once it is reported is stays on her record until it is paid or for seven years, but she does not know how the credit agency reports it. She also stated it was not up to social security how it gets reported by Experian, but she would have thought it would show payments for the months I made payments. She also said I might want to try talking to someone else at Experian. I do n't understand how Experian can continue to report non-payments every month when I am making payments every month to social security directly and paying the full amount owed. This has had a huge negative affect on my credit score. I am attaching the documents I sent to Experian when I filed the initial dispute. I am also including a screen shot of my Experian report that shows when you hover over - of the months it shows " failure to pay. '' This is for - of the months included in the statements I provided to Experian verifying payment which I also attached.
