I have a car that is financed with Regional Acceptance. I make a payment online every month, on time through their website. The website requires that I enter my information every month so I have not given them permission to auto-debit or store my information. This morning I checked my account and it has been debited for the full amount of my normal payment which is always more than the required amount. I contacted Regional and was told this was a glitch with their payment processing company and the payment was duplicated in error for numerous customers. I have 3 issues with this explanation ( 1 ) I never gave them permission to store my payment information ( 2 ) What 's to keep this from happening going forward ( 3 ) There is no payment reflecting in my payment history.
