I brought of vehicle from Regional Acceptance around -. I was in an - relationship relationship that I was trying to get my kids and myself out of. I took the proper steps with the authorities as well as contacting Regional Acceptance about what I could do. I had to pack up and leave everything behind in order to be safe. Upon speaking to them I was told that I can voluntarily turn my vehicle in. I turned my - - back in to them in -. I was told it would be on my credit report for 7 years at the most. Well a couple years ago I received a schedule I think it was a - C that I had to claim on my taxes from Regional Acceptance that had me to have to count this as part of my income. So I filed the debt on my taxes. Well 7 years would have been - and 10 years would have been -. So why is this showing on my credit report and it is showing activity. It shows that the last payment was made on -/-/-. It also shows delinquent in -, and -. I did not have that car those years. The car was a voluntary repossession in - so how is it reporting payment activities in my name for these years way after I had turned it in. How are they doing this fraudulent activity on my report. This is not acceptable. How many clients are they doing this too? I do not have the account information because it has been that long ago, but what is showing on my credit report is Regional Acceptance Corp # -
