Credit monitoring or identity protection Problem with fraud alerts New Jersey
I moved to a new apartment. I noticed my social security card missing as I was packing. I reported the loss via telephone to - which shared my fraud alert request with Experian and -. This summer I applied for senior housing in - county. That application was denied based upon a report generated by Experian. Subsequently I applied for a car loan with - because of their 0 % financing offer. I could only get the car on a 4 % financing. It was then that I was told that there was fraud alert placed on my credit. However, the credit reporting agencies never contacted me to verify. I became the victim of my own fraud alert.
