This complaint is with my Discover card account. I had n't used my card in over a year. In - and -, 2016, i had 2 automatic payment deductions from my bank account, as i had auto pay set up. Since i had not used my card, I contacted Discover card and found a fraudulent charge in - 2016 from Intertrade corp for $100.00. They closed my account, issued me new cards and stated i am not responsible for the fraudulent charge and subsequent payments. They provided a credit on my new acct. of $ -+ for the - charges against my bank acct. I used the card to bring the balance to almost -. Then Discover keeps putting the $70.00 charge back on my card. Each time, ( 6 times contacting them about the same issue ) they reverse the charge stating they have no idea why it keeps getting put back on, as the entire transaction was fraudulent to start with.I last spoke with Discover on -/-/2016 about this, on -/-/2016 my balance was again brought to near -. On -/-/2016 the $70.00 charge was back on my card. I am calling them tomorrow ( -/-/2016 ) for the 7th time regarding this fraud charge. I have no faith in their ability to resolve this matter. I want to have this resolved, so i can close this account without negative repercussions on my credit report. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as i am getting nowhere speaking to their customer service.
