I applied for a lower interest refinance from Bank of America. I was turned down. The only answer I was given on the phone was I made too much money for my area, which is -, Idaho. My interest rate is 8.375 %. My house payment is $830.00 a month. My credit score was good. I am on Social Security, my only income, and earn $1700.00 a month. After being turned down, I was not eligible to try somewhere else. I am still paying my mortgage to Bank of America. I do not think that President Obama knows how the big institutions are still ripping off the middle class. Someone needs to go over the loans that were turned down and see if B of A is still ripping off consumers.
