- - ( my former boyfriend ) had an auto loan through Ally Auto. I have made all of the payments and have a notarized document statement indicating title of the vehicle - purchased will be transferred into my name once the loan was paid in full. The vehicle we purchased was in an auto accident on -/-/-, resulting in the loan being paid off in full in -. - and I have made multiple attempts to request Ally Auto to send a lien release letter or card but the only thing they have sent is a letter confirming loan being paid in full. The MN Dept. of Motor Vehicle will not allow the car title to be transferred into my name until we provide them with supporting documentation of lien being released. I am attaching a copy of the letter Ally Auto sent us on - -, indicating our loan being paid in full. Could you please help - and I with getting a lien release from Ally Auto?
