I purchased a vehicle from Drivetime, They gave me a high interest rate but I was ok with it considering my credit rating. After driving the car for 3 years and bettering my credit I traded it in. The dealer that I traded to took awhile to send the payoff so my account was marked with my first late payment. I contacted Drivetime and explained the situation to them, They agreed to remove the late payment as a courtesy and I thank them for that. Fast forward a couple months and Drivetime is now -, now the late payment is again reflecting on my credit report. I have contacted Drivetime again and even filed a - compalaint just to be told that there is nothing they can do, which is - because it was done before. I worked so hard to get my credit back into shape without filing bankruptcy just to have this single late payment ruin my credit again.
