Non-federal student loan Dealing with my lender or servicer Having problems with customer service Arizona

I am a cosigner on my child 's - loans. My child refuses to make payments or consolidate the loans even though they earn an excellent salary. Wells Fargo is aware of the problem yet they do not pursue the borrower at all with any notifications or attempts to collect, yet they come after me as if I were the primary borrower. Wells Fargo has stated that there is a vehicle by which I can be removed as cosigner. I have requested that they do this. Wells Fargo repeatedly states that someone will be in touch with me yet I have not received any contact from anyone at Wells Fargo regarding this promised modification. My spouse wishes to retire and we need to get this resolved. Thank You,
