I had applied for mortgage on -/-/16 with Sebonic/Cardinal Financial. They charged my credit card on -/-/16 for $480.00 as appraisal fee. About one hour after the charge ( same day ), I called and informed them that I am withdrawing my application for mortgage with them so there is no need for appraisal. I also requested that the money charged be credited back to my card, both over the phone and in writing, as an email.
