Non-federal student loan Dealing with my lender or servicer Trouble with how payments are handled New York

I am the co-signer of my Son 's student loan from Navient. My son applied for and was granted a reduced rate payment plan. However, Navient was still reporting past due payments. I contracted Navient and spoke to their agent - - where he discovered that the accounts were still reflecting the old rate not the reduced rate. I spent an hour on the phone with him as he corrected the accounts and got them up to date and paid in full. He said everything was corrected and no monies or further action was required on my part. Going forward Navient reported to all - credit bureaus that the - accounts in question where 60 days past due and all - of my scores took a tremendous hit and went down close to - points. I 've made numerous phone calls to Navient beginning in - to explain and they conceded that made an error and would retract the 60 day late payments made to all three credit bureaus. I 've written them letters asking them to investigate as 60 days late is still showing on my credit reports. Friday - -, Navient sent me results of their investigation saying the 60 days late is accurate and will not remove it from my credit reports. Between the taped phone calls and typed phone transactions with several agents it will prove my version of events is true and accurate. I am appealing their decision once again, however, I fear they will give me the same results. I really need your assistance as I have no idea how to proceed to have their wrong righted on my credit reports
