I recently purchased a new home with builder financing. My mortgage was immediately sold to Roundpoint Mortgage Servicing corporation and I 've been making payments to them for the last 7 months. -/-/2016, I received a Real Estate tax bill from the City and promptly forwarded it to Roundpoint so that it could be paid from my escrow account. Despite several phone calls to Roundpoint 's customer service center, one of which ended with a promise from the floor superivsor to get the bill paid, Roundpoint has failed to issue a check and I 've been forced to pay the tax bill out of my own pocket. - 's excuse for not paying the bill is that it is marked " supplemental '' ; in actuality, the city of - - has confirmed that this is the normal real estate tax that is due for the period of -/-/- - -/-/2016.
