Discover Credit card department,
Discover credit card company made several mistakes with my auto pay bank account number changing. After this issue settled down I disputed an auto withdrawl -/-/-. I was staying in the mountains in -, CA and I had no internet access. A payment came out and I called a few days after I had internet access and could see. They insisted I had made it, I insisted otherwise. After this they escalated it to the fraudulent department and issued a new card, sign on ID and password. I was so angry I stopped using the card, and had n't signed onto the account for a couple months. Suddenly I got a notice from a bill payment service that said I had a late fee from Discover. I had n't got a bill in the mail, or in the email but there was $64.00 due. With the jssuing of a new card, and sign on ID it had stopped my US mail bills and access to email account information. By that time it was too late and a few days past due. Discover happily removed the late fee and said it should be a problem. Later that year I was locked out again and had to be re issued another account sign on ID. In -/-/- I noticed my credit score drop - points. After receiving my free credit report I now know it is from Discover. I believe in large part my late payment was due to the multiple changes to my account all of which was out of my control. I have lost a lot of faith in Discover, but I 've been an account holder sense -/-/-. If I close my credit card it will hurt my credit much more. I am asking again that Discover remove the late payment from my credit as they had made so many errors on my account from -/-/-/-/-/-.
