Checking account Problems caused by my funds being low
PNC Bank N.A. Bank account or service department,
Checking account Problems caused by my funds being low Pennsylvania
We have been charged overdraft fees on our interest personal checking account on three different occasions over a period of four months. At no time on these three occasions was our account overdrawn. I log onto our online banking everyday and constantly monitor our activity. A printout of the most recent $36.00 overdraft charge is attached. You can see that at no time did our account have a negative balance, but PNC charged an overdraft charge of $36.00. How can a bank charge an overdraft fee when the account to which it is charged does not have a negative balance? I think this is grounds for an investigation into a class action lawsuit. This has happened to us three times, and I 'm sure it has happened to other PNC consumers.
